How to organize your electronic devices

You have a phone, a tablet, a smart watch and sometimes more. As a mother of two kids with devices of their own, I got tired of lost chargers and fights over which charger belongs to who! There is a limit to how many times you can hear “Mom, she took my charger!”.

So I decided to buy a “charging station” for all of our devices and place it out of their room. This is a very simple and organized solution.

I bought a Multi Device Charging station and all of our devices are neatly stacked on it. You can buy this charging station in different number of ports. I bought a station with an extra number of ports just in case. The slots are wide enough for phones and tablets even with most kinds of cases.

You have two options to keep the charging station looking neat.

Option 1: Buy Micro USB Cable 8 Inch for iphone and ipads or Puridea USB Cable 8 Inch which supports Samsung, HTC, Kindles and more. These cables are short enough to reach your devices on the charging station without looking messy.

Option 2: Use your own cables and buy Nite Ize GT3 Reusable Rubber Twist Tie . These cute little ties are very affordable and come in a variety of colors. I personally liked the multi color ones and bought a couple of packs.

Now we each have an assigned color that wraps around our own cord. That way we charge our devices without arguing! No more lost or “borrowed” chargers!

This charging station is a must in our very digital homes. It is a step closer towards having organized devices. Guess what? Now with a quick glance, you can spot which device is not charging and avoid the frustration of having an out of charge phone the next morning!
