Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion quartered
- 6 oz fresh spinach leaves
- 1 tsp salt
- dash pepper
Recipe:
-Place spinach leaves, onions, salt and pepper in the food processor and puree until it’s somewhat a smooth mixture.
-In a medium bowl combine the spinach mixture with the ground beef and mix with your hands.
-Form into 4 to 5 patties.
-Keep in the fridge for 30 minutes to hold together.
-Place on the grill and cook at medium heat and cook each side for about 10 minutes or until desired doneness.
-Serve with your favorite toppings
Too cold to grill? Who said that you have to! You can cook these yummy burgers inside.
Stove top: In a pan add a spoon of butter or cooking spray, place the burgers on medium high heat and cook for about 6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness (time varies by stove).
Oven: Preheat the oven on 375 and in a baking dish, use cooking spray or a thin coat of butter, place the burgers and bake for about 20 minutes or until desired doneness.
